Lyme disease is a bacterial infection transmitted by ticks, mosquitoes, mice, and possibly fleas.
It has developed into a National health crisis. It has a high concentration of attacks in the Northeast. The incidence of this disorder is twelve to fifteen times higher that previous years. When people have chronic flu-like symptoms in the summer months, Lyme should be diagnosed. A rash will occur in 50-80 percent of infected persons and occurs 7-10 days after the tick bite.
Lyme is transmitted by the bacterial Borrelia Burgdorferi through the bite of the black-legged tick. Most people won’t remember if they were bitten by a tick. Over the years there have been a lot of different Lyme bacteria caused by various Rickettsia found in other regions of the United States. Animals that carry the contagious tick include birds, deer, mites fleas, and flies. Recent studies suggest that Lyme can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, pregnancy, and possibly breastfeeding.
The best treatment for Lyme disease involves an integrative approach combining antibiotic therapy and natural therapies.

Causes: Tick bits, Weakened immune system.
Self Help: If you find a tick on your skin, it is probably injecting bacterial into your blood supply. Use fine tweezers as close to the skin surface and pull upward gently to extract the whole tick. After removing the tick, use alcohol soap, and water to the damaged area. Wash hands as well. Put a tick in a baggie with alcohol and throw it away or just flush it down the toilet. Do not touch the tick with your hands.
Foods to Eat: vegetables, fruit, beans, nuts, seeds, brown rice, quinoa and buckwheat. Drink plenty of water per day. Increase organic yogurt with live cultures or other fermented foods.
Foods to Avoid: Gluten as this causes inflammation and simple sugars.
Nutritional Recommendations: Banderol drops to kill bacteria. Start with 5 drops daily and work up to 10 drops 3 x daily. Oregano Oil in juice 20 drops of 300 mg will help with bacteria and fungus. Colloidal Silver attacks microbes. Vitamin D3 500 IU 1 daily. Astragalus supports the immune system. Tale 500 mg 2 x daily.
If you are undergoing IV therapy for Lyme with antibiotics, the use of intravenous glutathione can work wonders to help with detoxification. .Ozone intravenous applications and ultraviolet can also be used.
