UNKNOWN JOINT PAIN COULD BE GOUT!!

Gout is an intensely painful disorder caused by the buildup of uric acid. Men are more likely to be affected. The condition was once known as “rich man disease”, It often strikes people who eat heavy fat foods and who over indulge in alcohol.
Uric acid is a metabolic by- product of protein breakdown. Purines are manufactured by the body through food and drink. When the body’s enzymes are not sufficient, the body produces uric acid crystals and settles in the joints. The pain results in swollen joints and can cause degenerative joint disease. The pain can go away for days or even weeks, but the attack will reoccur unless you address the problem.
New research shows 76% of people with insulin resistance are more susceptible to gout.
If you follow an insulin resistance diet, one rich in plant food, lower protein intake, fish, low carbohydrates and fats, your body will begin to make the necessary changes for better health. Gout is an inborn error of purine metabolism that can result from improper diet, stress, leaky gut syndrome, poor digestive enzymes as well as poor conversion of urea to ammonia which can be caused by improper saliva and urine PH.
