URINARY INCONTINENCE!!

Urinary incontinence is a condition that causes involuntary leakage of urine. It can be caused by a variety of factors including weak pelvic floor muscles, nerve damage, medication side effects, and other medical conditions. The symptoms of urinary incontinence can range from mild to severe and may include frequent urination, urgency to urinate, and leakage of urine during activities such as coughing, laughing, or exercising.

  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and other non-caffeinated, non-alcoholic beverages
  • Increase fiber intake to prevent constipation and improve bowel function
  • Maintain a healthy weight to reduce pressure on the bladder and pelvic muscles
  • Avoid smoking, which can irritate the bladder and cause coughing
  • Consider reducing or eliminating caffeine and alcohol intake
  • Talk to a healthcare provider about whether nutritional supplements may be helpful
